CUNY Cybersecurity Training Course for Faculty and Staff

We are excited to announce that the CUNY Cybersecurity Awareness Training Course 2024-25 is now live and ready for all faculty and staff on Blackboard.

Access Medgar Evers College’s Blackboard organization through this link: https://bbhosted.cuny.edu/webapps/blackboard/execute/courseMain?course_id=_2409473_1.

Remember, our cybersecurity resilience is only as strong as our weakest link. Education is our best defense against cyber threats. By training and staying vigilant, we can break the “it won’t happen to me” mindset. Let’s not wait for a crisis to act—let’s be proactive in strengthening our cybersecurity.

This 40-minute online course provides critical knowledge on identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks such as phishing, spam, and account breaches, along with essential best practices for protecting both personal and university data.

We urge all active employees at Medgar Evers College to complete this training by Nov/30/2024 to proactively safeguard both personal and institutional data.
