Dr. Jairus Okezue – Adjunct Lecturer

Dr. Jairus Okezue

Dr. Jairus Okezue has been an Adjunct Lecturer in the Biology department of Medgar Evers College where he teaches Human Anatomy and Physiology (lecture and laboratory session).

Prior to becoming an Adjunct lecturer, he worked as Director of Ophthalmology services at Afam Multispecialty Medical group in Brooklyn. Furthermore, he worked as the director of the Wellness Medical Center at Family Services Network of New York in Brooklyn.

Dr. Okezue Obtained his medical degree at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and post-graduate fellowship in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London, UK and Ireland. He enjoys teaching about the human systems and functions in addition to mentoring students to achieve their academic potentials.
