Dr. Ahmed Eshra Faculty Spotlight

Dr. Ahmed Eshra, Adjunct Professor/Business Administration

Ahmed Eshra, PhD, spent more than 20 years of his professional career in higher education in various capacities, as professor, department chair, and dean at various colleges and universities. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Alexandria University, an MBA from Manhattan College, and a PhD in Financial Management from Northcentral University. His professional career includes trading stocks in the New York Stock Exchange, working as a Business Development Consultant for New York City Small Business Services, and starting an entrepreneurial venture where he provided management consulting and corporate training services to many nonprofit, private, and governmental agencies in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East. Dr. Eshra is interested in financial education with a specific emphasis on personal finance and financial literacy. He is an active Adjunct Associate Professor of Business at the City University of New York (CUNY). He served at the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs as ACBSP Region 1 Chair, site evaluator and mentor for many institutions in the U.S. and internationally, the Member Relations Committee Chair, and currently a Board of Directors Member. He is a democratic, transformational leader who believes in collaboration and inclusion.
