50th Anniversary Social Justice Lecture Series: Dr. Michael Lomax

As a warm-up to Medgar Evers College’s 50th anniversary, the fall 2019 semester will include a series of social justice lectures. Each lecture is hosted by one of the College’s four academic schools, and the guest will speak on a topic related to the school’s academic disciplines.
The second lecture is hosted by the School of Education and features Dr. Michael L. Lomax, president and CEO of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). Dr. Lomax will discuss the role of historically Black colleges (HBCUs) in driving social justice, past, present, and future.
