Winning Research at MEC

The Metropolitan Association of College and University Biologists (MACUB) held its 52nd annual conference October 26, 2019, and Medgar Evers College students won first, second, and third place awards for their research presentations.

The students representing the College at the conference are MEC Biology majors who work with Professors Dr. Edward Catapane and Dr. Margaret Carroll and Biology students from Kingsborough Community College who are participants in the College’s Medgar Evers College (MEC)/Kingsborough Community College (KBCC) Bridges to the Baccalaureate program. The MEC/KBCC program connects two-year college students with four-year college students in the Biomedical Sciences. Catapane is the MEC/KBCC Program Director.

The following students won first, second, and third place for their presentations in the Physiology/Neuroscience/Clinical Science category.
