Subway Renaming Ceremony

On Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 3:30pm, join us for the sign unveiling of the Franklin Avenue and President Street subway stations, where each station will be renamed Franklin Avenue – Medgar Evers College and President Street – Medgar Evers College in honor of our namesake, Medgar Wiley Evers. With this ceremony, Medgar Evers College becomes the fifth school in The City University of New York with a New York City Subway station named for it.
