SEEK Student Assembly

New Search for Education, Elevation, and Knowledge (SEEK) Program students were welcomed to Medgar Evers College during the annual SEEK Student Assembly on Monday, September 16. EOJ Auditorium was filled with students who heard from SEEK Program Director Sherrill-Ann Mason, student leaders who are members of the SEEK Student Association (SSA), Interim Associate Provost Dr. Michael Dreyer, and Interim Dean of Students Dr. Alexis McLean.

SSA President Brooke Lugo Smith shared with the students the service projects and fundraising efforts SSA has been involved with and ways they could get involved. The other SSA members present were Mykeima Roseman, Jordon Cato, Nyla Phillips, Tayneice Zeal, Jemima Paul, Blessing Lee, Sandianna Paul, Yvette Thorpe, and Ledwine Buten. Their advisor is Jessica Rivera.
