MEC President Patricia Ramsey Named to City and State’s Brooklyn Power 100

We are pleased to announce that Medgar Evers College President Patricia Ramsey has been named to City and State’s Brooklyn Power 100.

The list recognizes not only the borough’s leading politicians, but also the business and nonprofit executives, real estate developers, labor leaders, advocates, activists, academics, and others who live and work in Brooklyn.

President Ramsey became the first woman to lead Medgar Evers College when the CUNY Board of Trustees appointed her as the institution’s sixth president in March. With New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer also making the list, President Ramsey is in good company!
