Four Cougars Named to All-Conference Sportsmanship Teams

Jody-Ann Blanchard (Sophomore — Women’s Soccer), Kishon Boston (Senior — Men’s Cross Country), Cristal Joseph (Sophomore — Women’s Volleyball), and Shaundel Neverson (Sophomore — Women’s Cross Country) were named to the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Sportsmanship Teams for their respective sports for the fall 2018 season. CUNYAC promotes principles of good sportsmanship which includes respect for opponents, officials, and coaches and dedication to fair play.

“This award shows that our student-athletes take pride in how they represent Medgar Evers College,” said Chetara Murphy, Director of Athletics and Intramurals. “The principles of sportsmanship set forth by CUNYAC guide their actions on and off the field of play.”

The awards were voted on by the conference’s head coaches in the individual sports at the conclusion of the season.
