Medgar Evers College prepares to transition from Blackboard to a new LMS, Brightspace.
Welcome to the site for Medgar Evers College transition from Blackboard to Brightspace. Starting this Summer 2024, Medgar Evers College courses will be taught using the Brightspace platform.
We are using this site to keep the College community informed about the transition and to provide a central repository for Brightspace resources for faculty, staff, and students. The Ed Tech Center is involved in ensuring this transition is successful and provides all users with the necessary knowledge and tools needed. HOW TO IMPORT YOUR BLACKBOARD TO BRIGHTSPACE
Up to four years of Blackboard courses (content only, not student data) have been migrated to Brightspace as part of the LMS transition. Follow the steps in this guide to manually import other Blackboard courses into Brightspace.
