Student ACM Chapter
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) student chapter at MEC is a student-driven club offering networking, mentoring, and opportunities to engage with others who share a passion for computing.
As an official ACM chapter, it receives financial support from the college, providing a strong environment for student growth.
MEC also hosts an ACM-W (ACM Women) student chapter, dedicated to supporting and encouraging women in computing by offering resources, mentorship, and a supportive community.
Weekly meetings feature a variety of activities, including informal discussions, technical workshops, and event planning. Key activities of the chapter include:

- Promotion of internship opportunities

The ACM and ACM-W student chapters work together to cultivate an inclusive, welcoming environment for all members, providing a dynamic and supportive space where students can enhance their skills and further their careers in technology.

Meeting times
Meetings are held every Monday at 11:30 AM in room AB1-C09. Audit the club anytime! Attendance is encouraged, but members are not required to attend every meeting.
