Student ACM Chapter
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) student chapter at MEC is a student club that provides unique opportunities for networking, mentoring and bonding over common interests. It is a means for students to provide support to each other within the student community.
The club is an official ACM chapter (http://www.acm.org/chapters) and it gets financial support from the college. Students meet once a week to have informal discussions, technical workshops, or plan events. Chapter activities include:
- Informal discussions
- Technical Workshops
- Participation in hackatons
- Programming sessions
- Tutoring
- Promotion of internships
- Technical interviews preparation

Meeting times
Meets every Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12pm in room AB1-C09.

Attendance is encouraged but members do not have to attend all meetings and can choose only one of the days to attend weekly.
