A CALL TO REINVEST IN OUR STUDENTS & THEIR FUTURE DONATE NOW!

Welcome to the Department of Nursing and thank you for your interest in our programs. The faculty and staff are dedicated to providing quality nursing education to our students. As the healthcare landscape continues to shift and change, it is vital that we prepare our students for practice in both traditional and non-traditional healthcare environments. The faculty and staff are dedicated to this endeavor and work collaboratively with students, Medgar Evers College administration, and our clinical partners to realize these efforts.

Medgar Evers College offers three nursing programs:  the Certificate in Practical Nursing Program, the Associate Degree in Applied Science, and the Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BS) for registered nurses.

As part of our selection process, we use a ranking system that considers your GPA, NLN scores, and grades in specific courses. This system helps us assess your academic readiness and potential for success in our program. We believe that this approach ensures fairness and transparency in our selection process.
