Laboratory School – Special Education

A Special Education Lab School geared at early intervention for children from birth through Grade 6 is a natural progression for our Early Childhood Special Education and Childhood Special Education programs.  The School of Education has established partnerships with several public schools and early intervention centers in Central Brooklyn for the purpose of improving the outcomes for children with disabilities. Teacher candidates have opportunities to engage in supervised learning experiences and internships in these partner lab schools.
