The Charles Evans Inniss Memorial Library in the Bedford Building is slated to start renovation in early 2013 and completed by mid 2014.

As part of the first phase of the library renovation preparations, the library will temporarily move to Carroll Street during construction.   To accommodate the move:

The library will be closed from Sunday Dec. 23, 2012 through Sunday Jan. 27, 2013.   

The temporary library will reopen in the Carroll Street building on the 4th floor  January 28, 2013, the first day of the semester.   Other updates and reminders will be sent regarding the relocation of the Library, the temporary Carroll Library and the Bedford Library Expansion project. Also, please watch the Medgar Evers College website for further information.    

We thank you for your patience during this necessary interruption.  The $21.7 million renovation will bring the Library up to state-of-the-art and better serve the students.
